Young Black Actors Needed . “kwanzaa Week Theater”

Changing Perceptions is seeking young actors to perform in a holiday production at the popular Bed-Stuy Art House.

Auditions are generally Wednesdays @ 5:30PM and Saturday @ 11AM @ Bed-Stuy Art House which is located @ 198A Lewis Ave, Brooklyn NY 11221.

Roles open for

  • Black male; early teens

  • Black male; mid to late teens

  • Black male; mid to late teens

  • Black male; mid to late teens

  • Black male; mid to late teens

  • Black female; mid to late teens

  • Black female, mid to late teens

Actor Responsibilities

  • Fill out form below.

  • Audition between December 6- December 13 by showing-up to audition, reading provided lines with other actors at the audition. Having a prepared monologue is fine but not required.

  • Attend rehearsals, which will be evenings and out of school hours between December 13 - 23.

  • Perform in holiday play on the evenings of Dec 27 - Dec 30.

  • Parents or guardians of actors under the age of 18 must sign permission for actors to be at rehearsals.
